With a small dog in its carrier, the train is easy. With a large one, the problem starts earlier: getting to the station. The TRAM and the city bus only accept small pets in a carrier, and on intercity coaches the pet travels in the luggage compartment, in a cage, and only if it's small.
We take you to the station with your pet and your luggage, or we collect your pet when it arrives, with you or with whoever is travelling with it. We've been working in the Alicante area since 13 October 2026.
Private trip: only your family's pets travel. We never share the van with pets from other families or combine bookings from different customers. And if you like, you come too.

The stations we use most
- Alicante-Terminal (Alacant-Terminal), next to Avenida de Salamanca: AVE, Avlo, Ouigo, Iryo, Alvia, Euromed, Intercity and Cercanías.
- Elche AV (Elx AV), the high-speed station in the Matola area, about 6 km from Elche and 4 km from Crevillent: without a car there's no comfortable way to get there with a large dog.
- Elche-Parque and Elche-Carrús, both underground, for Media Distancia and Cercanías.
- Villena AV, about 6 km from Villena, next to the A-31.
- The bus stations of Alicante (Muelle de Poniente, by the port), Elche (Avenida del Alcalde Vicente Quiles, next to Elche-Parque) and Benidorm (next to the Benidorm Intermodal TRAM stop).
If you're travelling by train with your dog
- Renfe accepts dogs of up to 40 kg without a carrier on AVE, Avlo, Larga Distancia, Avant and Media Distancia, on the trains marked with a paw print when you buy your ticket: one per person, with a muzzle and a short lead, and with a supplement.
- Pets of up to 10 kg travel in a carrier of up to 60 × 35 × 35 cm.
- On Cercanías commuter trains, dogs travel without a carrier, on a lead and muzzled, one per person.
- Ouigo and Iryo, which also stop in Alicante, have their own rules: check them before you buy.
How we organise it
- You tell us the station, the time of your train or bus and where you're leaving from.
- We pick you up with time to spare, so you reach the platform without rushing.
- We drop you at the station entrance with the carrier and your luggage.
- On arrival, we wait for you at the exit and take you home.
Hours
We work every day, public holidays included, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, emergencies only, on request. If it's your first booking with us, our guide to booking pet transport in Alicante explains what we need to know and how we give you a fixed price (page in Spanish).
Frequently asked questions
Can I take my large dog on the Alicante TRAM?
No. The TRAM d'Alacant rules only allow small pets in a cage or carrier, plus assistance dogs. To get to the station with a large dog, we take you.
Can you collect my pet at the station if it's travelling with a relative?
Yes. Whoever is travelling with it hands it over to us at the exit and we take it home. We let you know when we collect it and when we drop it off.
Do you go to Elche AV station?
Yes. It's in Matola, on the outskirts, and it's exactly the trip that's hardest without a car. We take you from Elche, Crevillent, Santa Pola or wherever you are.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the route. Message us on WhatsApp at +34 633 14 36 49 with the pickup and the destination and we'll give you a fixed price before you book.
Does my pet share the ride with other families' pets?
No. Every trip is for your family only: the van carries only your household's pets, and we never combine them with other customers' pets or stop to pick anyone up on the way.
