Pet Taxi in Alicante: Private Door-to-Door Pet Transport

Hatchi's white branded van with a husky looking out of the passenger window

Alicante has a vet in every neighbourhood, plenty of beaches and good transport links, but getting a big dog across town without a car, or with a car it won't fit in, is still a headache. The TRAM and the city buses only take small pets in a carrier, and with a taxi it's up to each driver.

We're not a taxi: we're the private transport your pet deserves. We pick your pet up at your door, take them to the vet, the groomer, the boarding kennel, the airport or the station, and bring them back, in a van fitted out for pets and reserved for your family. You book ahead and know the fixed price from the start. Our base is on Avenida de Federico Soto, right in the city centre, and we have been working across the Alicante area since 13 October 2026.

Private trip: only your family's pets travel. We never share the van with pets from other families or combine bookings from different customers. And if you like, you come too.

Dogs and beaches in Alicante

Alicante's 2020 by-law keeps dogs off the sand on the city's beaches, except on the beaches set aside for them and, on the rest, from 1 November to 1 March, on a lead and cleaning up after them. The city's dog beach is Agua Amarga, north of Urbanova next to the N-332: 250 metres of sand, with a fenced dog area in summer, a maximum of two dogs per adult, and dogs of potentially dangerous breeds on a lead and muzzled.

To let your dog run free in town, the City Council has fenced off-lead areas, such as those in Parque de Las Aguas, Parque Sergio Melgares and Plaza de la Paz.

Across the province of Alicante

We cover the whole province. On the Costa Blanca: Benidorm, Torrevieja, Dénia and Xàbia (Jávea). Inland and in the south: Elche, Orihuela, Elda, Petrer, Alcoi, Villena and every other town, listed on our service areas page (in Spanish).

Frequently asked questions

What is a pet taxi?

It isn't a taxi: it's a private transfer for your pet, booked in advance. We collect your pet at home, they travel alone in the van, or with you if you'd like to come, and we drop them wherever you tell us. We message you at pickup and at drop-off.

Since when have you worked in Alicante?

Since 13 October 2026.

Do you cover the whole province?

Yes: the whole province of Alicante, plus the towns in the Region of Murcia and the province of Albacete within 100 km of our base. The same days and hours as in Valencia: every day, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, ask us about emergencies.

Do I have to come with my pet?

No. You're welcome to come along, but if you can't, we collect your pet, keep you posted and hand them over to whoever you tell us.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the route. Send us the pickup and the destination on WhatsApp at +34 633 14 36 49 and we'll give you a fixed price before you book.

What are your hours in Alicante?

We agree the pickup and drop-off times with you when you book. We work every day, weekends and public holidays included, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, ask us about emergencies.

Can you take my pet to Alicante-Elche airport?

Yes. We collect your pet at home, in Alicante, in Elche or anywhere in the province, and take them by van to the terminal at El Altet, or back home. We agree the time so you get there with time to spare.

Do you take cats and large dogs?

Yes. Cats travel calmly in their carrier, with no pets from other families; for a large dog we set up the van to suit its size. Tell us the breed and weight on WhatsApp and we'll confirm.

Does my pet share the ride with other families' pets?

No. Every trip is for your family only: the van carries only your household's pets, and we never combine them with other customers' pets or stop to pick anyone up on the way.
