Pet Transfers to Castellón Train and Bus Station

Castelló de la Plana station is one of the few that has it all: AVE high-speed trains, Euromed and Alvia towards Barcelona and Alicante, Media Distancia, the Cercanías commuter line to Valencia and, right next door, the bus station. The hard part is getting there with your dog from a town in La Plana or inland, where there's no train nearby and the intercity bus is no place for a large dog.

We take you to the station with your pet and your luggage, or we collect your pet when it arrives and take it home, with you or without you. The van is reserved for your family alone: we never share the trip with pets from other families.

Private trip: only your family's pets travel. We never share the van with pets from other families or combine bookings from different customers. And if you like, you come too.

Castelló station

It's on Calle del Pintor Oliet. It's underground: the concourse and ticket offices are at street level and the platforms two levels down, so with a large carrier it's worth arriving a little earlier.
Trains: AVE high-speed services; Euromed, Alvia and Intercity towards Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Murcia; Media Distancia to Barcelona, Valencia, Tarragona and Tortosa; and the Cercanías C-6 to València Nord.
Buses: the bus station is right next door, on the same street, with services to the towns of the province and long-distance coaches.
The TRAM de Castelló and city bus line 16 also stop there.

If you're travelling by train with your dog

Renfe accepts dogs of up to 40 kg without a carrier on AVE, Avlo, Larga Distancia, Avant and Media Distancia, on the trains marked with a paw print when you buy your ticket: one per person, with a muzzle and a short lead, and with a supplement.
Pets of up to 10 kg travel in a carrier of up to 60 × 35 × 35 cm.
On Cercanías commuter trains, dogs travel without a carrier, on a lead and muzzled, one per person.

How we organise it

We work every day, public holidays included, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, emergencies only, on request.

You tell us the time of your train or bus and where you're leaving from.
We work out the pickup time from the real distance from your town, with time to spare to get down to the platform.
We drop you at the station entrance with the carrier and your luggage.
On arrival, we wait for you at the exit and take you home.

Frequently asked questions

Which towns can you pick me up from for Castellón station?

From the whole province: La Plana, the coast and inland, including the small towns of the Maestrat and the Alto Palancia. When you book, we give you a pickup time based on the real distance.

Can my large dog go on the Cercanías train to Valencia?

Yes: on Cercanías, dogs travel without a carrier, on a lead and muzzled, one per person. If you'd rather not go by train, we take you door to door all the way to Valencia.

Can you collect my pet at the station if it's travelling with a relative?

Yes. Whoever is travelling with it hands it over to us at the exit and we take it home. We let you know when we collect it and when we drop it off.

How much does it cost?

Does my pet share the ride with other families' pets?

No. Every trip is for your family only: the van carries only your household's pets, and we never combine them with other customers' pets or stop to pick anyone up on the way.
