Pet Taxi for Large Dogs in Valencia: Ride With Your Dog, Whatever Its Size

If you have a German shepherd, a Labrador, a greyhound or a mastiff, you know what happens when you order a taxi or a ride-hailing car in Valencia: some don't take dogs, others only if they fit in a carrier, and others cancel when they see your dog on the pavement. Apart from assistance dogs, which they always have to accept, taking your dog depends on what each driver decides.

Hatchi is the alternative. We're not a taxi: we're private pet transport, with a van designed for pets in which you ride with your dog, whatever its size. You book on WhatsApp, we pick you up at your door and take you wherever you need to go.

Why an ordinary taxi says no

The boot of a car isn't made for a 40-kilo dog, and on the back seat it isn't safe.
Dog hair and sand on the upholstery can ruin the rest of the driver's shift.
Some drivers are allergic to dogs or simply afraid of large ones.
In ride-hailing apps the pet option is limited and the driver can turn the trip down.

Where we take you in Valencia

To your vet, or to the CEU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Alfara del Patriarca when your case is referred (page in Spanish).
To the Pinedo dog beach in season, or for a walk in the Turia gardens.
To Joaquín Sorolla station or to Manises airport, with the large carrier and your luggage.
To the boarding kennel, the groomer or a relative's home in any town in the province.

How it works

We give you a fixed price before you book. It doesn't change with weight or breed.
We pick you up at your door; you ride with your dog in the van, with room for it to travel comfortably and safely.
If you can't go, we take your dog ourselves and send you photos during the trip.

Hours and price

We work every day, public holidays included, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, emergencies only, on request. A large dog costs the same as any other Hatchi trip: the price depends on the route, and we give it to you on WhatsApp before you book.

Frequently asked questions

Can I ride with my dog in the van?

Yes, that's the idea: you travel with your dog, but not in a taxi; in a van fitted out for pets and only for you.

Is there a size or weight limit?

No. We take dogs of any size, from greyhounds to mastiffs. Tell us how much your dog weighs and how big it is when you book, so we can set up the space for it.

Do you charge more for a large dog?

Does my pet share the ride with other families' pets?

No. Every trip is for your family only: the van carries only your household's pets, and we never combine them with other customers' pets or stop to pick anyone up on the way.

What if I also have a cat or a rabbit?

They come too. We take any pet that travels safely in its carrier, cage or terrarium, and pets from the same household travel together.
