Pet Transfers to the Port of Dénia: Ferry to Ibiza, Formentera and Mallorca

From the port of Dénia, Baleària sails to Ibiza, Formentera and Palma. Many people arrive at the terminal without a car, because they leave it at home or because they're coming from elsewhere, and with a big dog, its carrier and the luggage, that last stretch is the hardest part.

We pick you up at home, at your hotel or at the station and drop you at the Baleària terminal in the port of Dénia with time to board. We also collect you and your pet on the way back. The van is reserved for your family alone. We've been working in the Alicante area since 13 October 2026.

Private trip: only your family's pets travel. We never share the van with pets from other families or combine bookings from different customers. And if you like, you come too.

Routes from Dénia (September 2026)

Dénia – Ibiza: morning and afternoon sailings, taking between 2 h 15 min and 3 h 15 min depending on the ship.
Dénia – Formentera: direct in the morning, in about 2 hours, or via Ibiza in the afternoon.
Dénia – Palma: via Ibiza, a little over 5 hours.
Timetables change with the season: check them with Baleària before booking.

Pets on board with Baleària

Pet-friendly seat: your pet travels with you if it weighs up to 8 kg including the carrier, always inside it.
Pet-friendly cabin: up to two pets weighing no more than 30 kg together, or just one if it weighs more.
Calm kennels: ventilated kennels on board for pets that don't travel with you.
Pets can't stay in the vehicle: Baleària doesn't allow it. To board you need a lead or a carrier, and a muzzle if the law requires one.

How we organise it

You tell us the sailing time and the pickup address.
We pick you up with the margin the ferry company asks for foot passengers.
We drop you at the terminal with the carrier and the luggage.
On the way back, we wait for you when the ship docks.

Frequently asked questions

Where can you pick us up to go to the port of Dénia?

Anywhere in the Alicante area. From Xàbia, Pedreguer or Ondara it's a short ride; from Benidorm, about three quarters of an hour; and from Alicante, a little over an hour.

Can my big dog travel on the ferry?

Yes, in a pet-friendly cabin or in the calm kennels, depending on the ship. Book its place with Baleària when you buy your ticket.

Will you pick me up when I come back from Ibiza?

Yes. Tell us what time the ship arrives and we'll wait for you at the terminal in the port of Dénia to take you home.

What are your hours?

Every day, public holidays included, from 8:00 to 20:00. Outside those hours, ask us about emergencies.
